Ariel Kelley

  • Intake Specialist

Ariel Kelley is from Saraland, AL. and is currently living in Daphne, AL. She first stepped into the legal world in 2020 after the pandemic hit and has been with The Hernandez & Associates Law Firm since Fall of 2023. Ariel is one of our intake specialists and is one of the first people you will get to meet when you contact our office. A few of her main duties include taking intake information and payments, scheduling appointments, keeping files up to date, and making sure things run smoothly for those around her. When she’s not at the office Ariel enjoys reading, playing video games, gardening, dancing, spending time with her dog Frisk, and taking part in local theater.

Caitlin Jones

  • Criminal Defense Paralegal

Caitlin Jones is a Baldwin County resident and has worked as a criminal defense paralegal since 2019. Some of her tasks include drafting and filing motions, communicating with various judges and attorneys at both the State and Federal level, drafting letters to clients, and maintaining contact with clients regarding the status of their cases and any upcoming court dates. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time outdoors or at home with her family and her dog.

DeAsia Barnes

  • Criminal Paralegal

DeAsia is from Northern Alabama and came to Mobile to attend the University of South Alabama where she graduated in 2022. She joined the Hernandez & Associates Law Firm as an intern while she was still in undergraduate school. After graduation she joined the firm full-time and began working completely remote for the last year when she returned home. Now that she has enrolled in graduate school at the University of South Alabama she has returned to Mobile and currently works as a full time paralegal and mentor for others at the Firm. DeAsia is very organized and professional and is an excellent resource and member of our trial team.

Elizabeth “Ely” Collazo

  • Spanish Interpreter

Elizabeth “Ely” Collazo is originally from the island of Puerto Rico. She is currently living in west Mobile with her 10-year-old daughter, Catalina. She is the Spanish interpreter here at the Hernandez Law Firm and part of our intake team. As well as our onboarding specialist team. If you are going to retain our services, she will very likely be the first smile you will receive. Some of her main duties include, court interpreting, Jail visits, Spanish consultations, contracts, and all intake and onboarding duties. She is very outgoing and fun to be around. When she is not working, she enjoys the beach, singing, shopping and traveling.

Eric Ackerman

  • Client Onboarding Specialist 

Eric is a 1992 graduate of Spring Hill College where he was a 4-year starter on the men’s soccer team. In 1994 Eric received his Masters in Counselor Education from the University of South Alabama. Eric joined the firm in 2023 and has quickly become an intricate part of our new client on boarding and collection team. He began working for the Firm as an intake specialist and quickly moved into a key position with the Firm. He is the onboarding specialist for the firm and he assists clients with acclimating to the firm procedures and assists in keeping clients informed, and ensures they have information related to their billing statements in a timely manner. He assists in helping clients schedule necessary meetings with the attorneys, and in answering questions related to court dates, times and changes related to their cases. In his free time, he works as a soccer referee and watches professional soccer, especially Manchester United!

Hannah Sutherland

  • Project Specialist

Hannah Sutherland lives in Axis Alabama. She graduated from Citronelle High School. She has been working in the legal field for a year in a half. She is the firm’s project specialist. She helps with collections, drafting and filing motions, interacts with clients, and big projects behind the scenes. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Jake Bossert

  • Paralegal to Christine Hernandez

Jake is from Dothan, Alabama. He moved to Mobile to attend the University of South Alabama. In 2021 he graduated from USA and began working in the legal field. He has worked in the legal field for the last three years and has settled in as the primary paralegal for Christine Hernandez, the founder of the Hernandez and Associates Law Firm. He works on a lot of different types of cases with Christine and the rest of her trial teams. Jake has become a respected and dependable asset to the trial teams and plays a key role in developing the theories and witness lists for criminal and civil trials as well as the administrative hearings for our educational and employment cases. He is a dedicated member of the Firm. When he is not working, Jake likes to play video games, and enjoys reading comics and books. Every year he goes deep sea fishing and he chooses to continue to live in Mobile because he loves the rain and it’s continuously raining here.

Jermeshia Shantel Moseley

  • Legal Assistant

Jermeshia Shantel Moseley is from Grand Bay, AL and lives in Mobile, AL with her husband and two daughters. Jermeshia graduated from The Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, LA, with her Juris Doctorate and from University of South Alabama with her Bachelor’s degree. Jermeshia is new to the Hernandez Firm and aspires to be an attorney for the firm in 2024. She is now the researcher and ghost writer for the firm and as such she researches various laws and reviews transcripts for attorneys and drafts appeals, memorandums, motions/complaints, and letters. When she is not in the office Jermeshia enjoys cooking with her father, shopping with her mother, dates with her husband, and library visits with her daughters.

Madison Perryman

  • Trial Coordinator

Madison Perryman graduated from Huntingdon College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, and a Minor is Psychology. She handles the incoming discovery, requests missing discovery, and puts together the trial notebooks for Christine Hernandez. Other tasks include drafting motions and drafting subpoenas. When she is not in the office, she enjoys playing video games and cuddling with her dogs.

Michelle Bozeman

  • Paralegal

Michelle Bozeman is from Fairhope, Alabama, where she lives with her husband and two children. Michelle is a graduate of Coastal Alabama Community College, with an associates degree in Paralegal Studies. She has been with The Hernandez & Associates Law Firm for two years. She is the Domestic Relations Paralegal for the Firm, and as such, she manages Divorce, Custody, and Probate cases; she maintains contact with clients and helps attorneys with day to day tasks involving these different types of cases. Some of her tasks include taking dictations and filing motions, and interacting with the clients daily through emails, phone calls, and meetings. She is the primary go between for the attorney and client interaction. When she is not in the office, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family and playing video games.
